School's out for summer... (Alice Cooper)
Summertime, and the livin's easy... (Billie Holliday)
There's 104 days of summer vacation...(theme song to Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb)
Can't believe the kids are out for summer vacation (well, one is and the other gets out Thursday). I can remember counting down the days myself. But that was so I could just go to the beach, not plan the whole trip to the beach. And it meant being another year closer to graduation, not another year closer to having a child who is a high school graduate.
Time flies...
